Support CHAOS
CHAOS of Ottawa Illinois, site by AJ Hauser and the Hauser Design Group

We need your support!

One of the primary objectives of CHAOS is to make outstanding arts experiences accessible to all members of the community.

We will do this by keeping class fees affordable, and offering scholarships or "in kind" exchanges for those who qualify for assistance, or wish to give back to the center through volunteerism, mentoring or teaching.

To provide materials, keep our instructors coming back and ultimately, a roof over our heads, we need your support!

Jackson Pollock Inspired Painting Party

Your child and his friends will channeling their inner “Jackson Pollock” and be inspired to create their own splatter painting. Along with instruction from CHAOS staff, each child will be given their own 9” x 12” canvas, paints, spray bottles and squirt guns to splatter away and paint a masterpiece worthy of a place of honor in your house. Painting clothes are highly recommended. Ages: 5 and up

Mini Monets

Your party guests will be inspired by the beautiful Impressionist paintings of Claude Monet. Using pastels, a favorite medium of Impressionist artists, and short, rapid strokes, our mini impressionists will “recreate” one of Monet's most famous paintings onto the surface of Shrink Film. Their recreations will then be shrunk, creating rich and intense areas of color. They will then string these medallions with their choice of colorful glass and crystal beads to make a one of a kind necklace. Ages: 7 and up.

Mini Fairy Houses

What little girl doesn't believe in fairies? Well, we at CHAOS do. We will help your party guests to create a fairy house for their favorite fairy. They will be inspired by CHAOS's own collection of hand made fairy houses as well as other visual materials to create a one of a kind “party favor” out of natural and faux materials. Ages: 6 and up

Knights of the round table

Surrounded by regal decorations, your son and his knights will be inspired to design their own crest and use it to decorate their own knight's shield. Then using their shields and provided foam swords, they will be taught the basics of stage sword fighting. Come celebrate the king's birthday and help him slay the dragon. Ages: 7 and up

Fancy Nancy Bonjour Butterfly Tea Party

Dressed in the fanciest dress-up clothes, your daughter's party guests will be ready to transform into a beautiful butterfly. Each guest will decorate their very own set of butterfly wings to wear while they enjoy a butterfly inspired tea party. They will also enjoy a lively reading of Fancy Nancy Bonjour, Butterfly while they dine. Ages: 4 and up
